3rd shipment of rock boulders required for Kulhudhuffushi Airport Shore Protection Project delivered

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that the first shipment of rock boulders required for HDh. Kulhudhuffushi Airport Shore Protection Project has been delivered to the site.
MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that back filling and bed preparation works are currently underway.
Under the project, 882 meters of revetment will be carried out and 30 meters of groynes will be constructed. And an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) was carried out before commencing the project.
The MVR 42.37 million project is awarded to MTCC to be completed within 200 days.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
