The social media competition to select the 50+ participants for Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation’s (MMPRC) largest event in the Maldives this year; the Visit Maldives Storytellers’ Conference 2023, is now open.
The social media competition kicked off on February 27, and will last until March 25, 2023.
On the other hand, the Visit Maldives Storytellers’ Conference 2023 will be held from May 30 to June 02, 2023. The conference will bring together over 50 content creators from around the world to “Weave Your Maldivian Story”, and the event is considered as the largest gathering of travel writers, journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media experts.
MMPRC further said that the Visit Maldives Storytellers’ Conference is styled under its “Redefining MICE” concept; and will be held at CROSSROADS Maldives.
Speaking about the conference, MMPRC said that the attendees can take part in breakout sessions to learn about sustainable tourism, Maldivian culture, heritage, and learn about Maldives fisheries and gastronomy sessions.
Additionally, the conference will feature pop-up stalls from leading artists in the Maldives. A gala dinner will conclude the event.
The conference will culminate with the winners of the social media competition receiving the opportunity to immerse themselves in “the beauty, experiences, and hospitality of the Maldives”.
Moreover, participants may enjoy experiences ranging from snorkeling, culinary tours, island-hopping, and even sandbank picnics. The sideline experience will be conducted at the eight different regions of the Maldives.
