Saudi Arabia has launched a new initiative allowing pilgrims to book Umrah packages directly online, without needing to go through travel agents or embassies.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s “Nusuk Umrah” platform offers affordable, customizable packages for individuals or small groups. The service is designed to simplify the process and enhance the experience for pilgrims traveling independently.
According to the ministry, pilgrims who book through Nusuk will be insured and supported throughout their stay, with services provided by 15 approved Saudi organizations.
The platform allows users to register with their country of residence, origin, and email address. Once registered, they can choose from 65 packages that include visa arrangements, accommodation, daily meals, transportation, and sightseeing.
Package highlights:
Prices range from 2,500 riyals (MVR 10,269) to 14,573 riyals (MVR 59,863)
Duration options from five days to three weeks
Packages available for one to eight people
Stay options in Mecca only or Mecca and Medina
