Sabaah Rasheed have said that when people talked about ACC not publishing the reports regarding MMPRC corruption on the last dy April as they promised earlier, ACC said that they are sharing it with PG and that it is just a “juge” joke.
Sabaah also said that summoning Farish Maumoon to police station regarding an audit report of 2007 is also a joke. A lot of people are noting that ACC is unable to investigate the many reports published by the auditor general since 2007.
AG has released more than 200 reports and ACC has not taken them s serious. All the reports with huge corruption reports are always kept pending.
“We will investigate major cases this year” said ACC in two different years. But in these 2 years, ACC did not investigate any major case like stated and people are concerned about it. The people can see the speed at ACC can investigate because there are 10-year-old audit reports that have not been investigated yet.
People are finding it hard to take ACC seriously due to various reasons like this.
