Ali Naseem (Koyya) of Ma.Parisge has passed away unexpectedly early this morning.
According to his family, he was in good health even last night and that he came home around 1 in the morning after his work with football teams.
His wife said that, when she woke up for Fajr prayer, she felt that something was happening to Ali and then she took him to hospital. She said that he passed away by the time he was taken to hospital.
It is believed that he died of a cardiac arrest.
Ali Naseem served Maldivian football in various ways for a long time. He is a national serviceman. Even when he passed away he was filling a post at FAM.
In addition, he served in the tourism industry of Maldives in its early days. He managed Kuda Huraa Resort at one time.
He passed away at the age of 59, leaving a wife 3 children and 3 grandchildren..
Ali Naseem is a great friend of everyone and always had a smile on his face.
