The sentencing of the current Defence Minister, Moosa Ali Jaleel, the former Defence Minister, Tholhath Ibrahim Kaleyfaanu and and the former Colonel Mohamed Ziyad of MNDF charged with terrorism have been scheduled for tomorrow night.
The sentencing of the former Defence Minister, Tholhath Ibrahim Kaleyfaanu is scheduled for 8 p.m.
The sentencing of the current Defence Minister, Moosa Ali Jaleel is scheduled for 9 p.m.
And the sentencing of the former Colonel Mohamed Ziyas is scheduled for 10 p.m.
The sentencing hearing previously scheduled for all three on 27 March was cancelled.
Aside from them, the trial of the former Male’ Area Commander at MNDF, Ibrahim Mohamed Didi, who has also been charged with terrorism, has not concluded yet since he is abroad on a medical visit.
The former president Mohamed Nasheed has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for arresting Judge Abdulla Mohamed with the use of MNDF in the January of 2012.
