As part of the Bank of Maldives’ commitment to supporting the growth of sports in the country, the bank has agreed to become the Official Sponsor of all national surf teams through an agreement with the Maldives Surfing Association (MSA).
As part of this collaboration, Bank of Maldives will also fund MSA’s annual National Junior Surfing Championship to foster the growth of future talent in the sport.
“We are incredibly happy to cooperate with Maldives Surfing Association through our BML Islamic branch,” stated BML’s In-charge and Acting MD Aishath Noordeen. “The skill of local surfers continue to inspire us. We also believe that through our collaboration, we can make a genuine impact in promoting the sport and helping young athletes accomplish their goals.”
Bank of Maldives continues to support in sports through collaborations with national football, swimming, and tennis groups. As part of its 40th Anniversary monthly efforts, the Bank has announced a Sports Scholarship for top athletes in collaboration with the Maldives Olympic Committee.
