The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) has announced the dismissal of Shamy Adam from the boards of Road Development Corporation (RDC) and SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC).
In a post on X, the PCB confirmed that Shamy has also been removed from his position as Chairperson of RDC. His dismissal from both companies' boards took effect yesterday, according to the announcement.
Shamy had been serving as a board member of SDFC since March 2019 and was appointed as Chairman of RDC in January 2023. Prior to these roles, he held the position of General Manager at the Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO) and served in senior leadership roles across several resorts and companies.
