President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has concluded the visit to Faafu Atoll. The president's visits to the atolls primarily focus on engaging with the local community, actively listening to their concerns, discussing feasible solutions, and gaining valuable insights into the islands' development. These visits underscore the administration's commitment to inclusive island development through extensive consultation with councils and encouraging active participation from the residential communities.
During his visit to Faafu Atoll, President Solih visited all the inhabited islands and met with the Island Councils and members of the Women's Development Committees. He also visited community institutions and observed development sites. He also took the time to visit community institutions and observe various development sites.
Notably, President Solih inaugurated several key infrastructure projects during his visit. On Magoodhoo Island, he inaugurated the water and sewerage network as well as the administrative building of Fenaka Corporation. Similarly, on Bilehdhoo, he inaugurated the powerhouse, the administrative building of Fenaka Corporation, and a multi-purpose hall at Bilehdhoo School.
Moreover, President Solih inaugurated the upgraded harbor on Dharanboodhoo, along with the administrative building of Fenaka Corporation and an Ice Plant on Feeali.
