Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has launched the ‘Ujaalaa Now’ portal to digitize all of its ‘Ujaalaa Dhiriulhun’ services.
MIB earlier launched the ‘Ujaalaa Dhiriulhun’ (Prosperous Living) consumer goods financing facility aimed at individuals seeking myriad of financial options for their personal needs.
The portal will now allow customers to apply for goods and financing under the ‘Ujaalaa Dhiriulhun’ facility, and unlike before, the agreement process has been integrated into the portal.
According to MIB, the portal will allow customers to pick up their goods at the supplier of their choice. The bank also said all the services of the facility are now online to ensure people living outside of Greater Male’ region had the same accessibility to the products as well.
Moreover, the entire bank account opening process has also been made online through the bank’s “Apply Now” portal.
The ‘Ujaalaa Dhiriulhun’ facility is subject to a higher credit limit proportionate to the salary or rent received by customers. The facility allows customers to purchase valuable goods that include motorcycles, outboard engines, building equipment, and furniture.
The bank also launched ‘Ujaalaa Cash’ that allows quick withdrawals for essential needs.
