President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has departed on an official visit to two islands of Shaviyani Atoll and Noonu Atoll.
The President’s Office revealed President Solih is undertaking a two-day official visit to Funadhoo in Shaviyani Atoll and Holhudhoo in Noonu Atoll. The president’s first stop of the visit is Funadhoo, where he will attend the ceremony held to mark the 50th anniversary of Funadhoo School. The president will arrive in Holhudhoo on June 18, where he will attend the ceremony held to mark the 75th anniversary of Meynaa School.
During this visit, President Solih is also scheduled to meet the local councils and Women’s Development Committees (WDCs) of the two islands, to discuss the concerns of residents. He will conclude his trip and return to Male’ on June 19.
