President Abdullah Yaameen has stated that the bridge planned to build between Male’ and Hulhumale’ will begin before the end of this year.
The statement was made in a ceremony held in Citron.
The President further stated that the Chinese Government has assured to commence the building of the bridge in this year. The bridge will be built in the area of Citron and thereby making the area a cosmopolitan.
“We have received the proposal. We have received the per-documentation of the project. The project will be completed using the investor’s own capital. Hulhumale’ will be developed as a youth initiated island” addressed the president.
