Housing Minister Dr.Muhammadh Muizzu have said that people will start living in the newly built housing units in Hulhumale’ early next year.
Dr.Muizzu said that the housing units are almost complete and right now electrical wiring work is going on.
More than 15,000 people applied for the housing units. The government has started developing 15,000 housing units in Hulhumale’ now. Housing Ministry says that these units will be completed by 2018.
In addition, the minister has announced that the government plans to build 600 more housing units in 8 other islands of Maldives.
