Appeal hearing over Adhaaltha Party President Sheikh Imran Abdulla’s remand case for his active participation and pioneering of Adaalath initiated Mayday protest has been concluded.
High Court said that after the conclusion of the case hearing، the remaining would be issuing a verdict which will be  is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. today.
Imran was arrested since Adhaalth initiated the “Mayady” protest and therefore Adhaalath should be responsible for the violence occurred at the protest، said the Police.
Imran was first remanded for 15 days and after the 10 day remand ended he was given remanded for a 10-day remand by Criminal Court on 17th May.
