Bank of Maldives (BML) announced Saturday that it will open its branches and centres from 0830 to 1400 hrs, from July 5-9, for services that are not available via online or self-service banking.
BML's branches and service centres located in capital Male’ City will also continue to provide services through pre-booked appointments.
Customers can book appointments via the bank's appointment portal or SMS. The bank noted that appointments are to be booked a day ahead.
Although branches and service centres will open, BML noted that certain services will be made available online. The cut off-times for these services are available at https://www.bankofmaldives.com.mv/essential-services-via-online

- International Transfers (TT)
- Payroll
- Local Bank Transfers
- MIRA Payments
- mPOS Applications
Services only available from ATMs:
- Cash Deposit: The daily limit for businesses MVR 500,000 and for personal customers MVR 100,000
- Cheque Deposit

Reiterating its commitment to safeguarding the health and safety of customers and employees, BML encouraged users to bank from home for everyday banking, and to use the services available online.
