Maldives Police Services (MPS) and Maldives Customs Service have held high-level discussions on strengthening collaboration between the two institutions.
The discussions were held during the meeting between the Commissioner of Police, Ismail Naveen and the Commissioner General of Customs, Fathimath Dhiyana on Monday.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on strengthening collaboration between MPS and the Customs Service.
Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation to support more effective and coordinated service delivery across key operational areas.
Commissioner General Dhiyana was accompanied by Deputy Commissioners Abdulla Waheed, Mahmoodh Riyaz, and Ibrahim Mafaaz.
MPS and the Customs Service are working together to improve the security and safety including border security, drug trafficking and joint operations between the two agencies.
