A search has been launched for a Maldivian man who has been reported missing in Malaysia.
The missing man has been identified as Ahmed Usaid Ibrahim Afeef.
An official from Foreign Ministry confirmed to Sun that the Ministry has received a report of a missing Maldivian in Malaysia.
As such, the official said the Maldivian High Commission in Malaysia is liaising with the relevant authorities in the country to locate the Usaid.
According to sources, Usaid went missing after 3:00pm on Sunday.
Many have shared pictures of Usaid on various social media platforms, seeking to locate him.
Anyone with information regarding Usaid has been asked to contact the Maldivian High Commission in Malaysia.
