Tree Top Hospital revealed today that the hospital participated as the medical partner for the "Pieced Together Run" held this month by Grade 10 students of Billabong High International School.
The hospital said that they provided emergency services and other necessary medical support for the run held on the 17th of this month. The purpose of Billabong International's "Pieced Together Run" was to give students experience in planning, marketing, and executing an event.
Tree Top said that they give special priority to provide assistance for such activities organised by schools, and added that they place special emphasis on raising health awareness among school children.
They further said that they conduct activities for students interested in the medical field to visit Tree Top Hospital and observe the work done there.
Tree Top Hospital, based in Hulhumalé with several facilities including a clinic in Malé as well, provides a wide range of medical services for the Maldivian population.
