Employment Tribunal Resolved 273 Cases Last Year, Audit Report Reveals

The Employment Tribunal resolved 273 cases in 2024, according to the Compliance Audit Report published by the Auditor General's Office.
Statistics in the report show that 277 cases were submitted to the Tribunal last year, representing a 38.5 percent increase compared to 2023, when 200 cases were filed. However, the case resolution rate decreased by 2.5 percent compared to the previous year.
Despite the progress, 244 cases remained unresolved by the end of last year, including pending cases from 2023. In 2023, 124 cases were unresolved at year-end.
On financial matters, the Auditor General's Office stated that the Employment Tribunal's expenditures in 2024 were made in line with the allocated budget and complied with regulations.
Established under the Employment Act, the Employment Tribunal's primary objective is to resolve workplace-related disputes swiftly. The institution consists of seven members, including a President and Vice President, appointed by the President.
