Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has launched the 'Ujaalaa Now' portal to digitize all services of its consumer goods financing facility, Ujaalaa Dhiriulhun.
The portal will allow customers to apply for goods and financing under "Ujaalaa Dhiriulhun" facility. Unlike before, the agreement process will also be completed through this portal.

According to MIB, the portal will also allow customers to pick up their goods at the supplier of their choice. MIB said that all the services of the facility were made online to ensure that people living in all parts of Maldives can use the facility
MIB is digitizing its services to make them accessible to people from anywhere in the country. The entire account opening process has also been made online through the bank's 'Apply Now' portal.
The bank noted that MIB's 'Ujaalaa Dhiriulhun' facility has been well received by the public. This facility is subject to a higher credit limit in proportion to the salary or rent received by customers. The facility will allow customers to purchase valuable goods such as motorcycles, outboard engines, building equipment, and furniture.
MIB has also launched a facility called 'Ujaalaa Cash' to withdraw money for essential needs.
