Qatar Airways to resume Maldives flights from 8 April

Qatar Airways has confirmed the resumption of its flight operations between Doha and the Maldives, following a temporary suspension caused by regional tensions in the Middle East that disrupted several key air corridors.
Under its latest revised schedule, the airline will recommence services between Doha and Male’ from 8 April 2026, operating up to five flights per week.
The reinstated service restores a key international air link for the Maldives. The route plays an important role in supporting inbound tourism and facilitating outbound travel for travellers, while enhancing connectivity for travellers from key feeder markets relevant to the Maldives, including the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas.
Qatar Airways also confirmed that passengers holding tickets for travel up to 15 June 2026 can benefit from a flexible rebooking policy, offering added reassurance amid ongoing uncertainty.
Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) has advised passengers to travel only if they hold a valid confirmed ticket, as some flights may be subject to operational adjustments.
