Applications for the Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) Guesthouse Awards will open in July, according to Crowe Maldives.
At a press conference held Thursday at Maagiri Hotel, Crowe Maldives Managing Partner Hassan Mohamed announced that guesthouses will have one month to submit their entries, with the deadline set for July 15.
The awards will be presented in eight categories that recognize excellence and innovation in the guesthouse sector:
Service Excellence and Hospitality Award  
Authentic Maldivian Experience Award  
Island Excursion and Experience Award  
Culinary Experience Award  
Eco Friendly Award  
Community Impact Award  
Digital Presence Awardee  
Iconic Marine and Dive Experience Award

In addition, three individual accolades will honor outstanding professionals in the industry:
Talented Culture Champion Award  
Guest Experience Champion Award  
Outstanding Dive Leader Award  
The MIB Guesthouse Awards are endorsed by the National Hotel and Guest House Association, which has formally handed over the award documentation to MIB.
