Former President of the Maldives، Mohamed Nasheed said that he was saddened by the attack on a gay nightclub in USA.
Fifty people died and 53 people were injured in the attack. The nightclub was attacked by an American named Omar. ISIS has taken responsibility for the attack. Nasheed said that everyone must stand in unity against such attacks.
Lot of people have criticized Nasheed after he condemned the attack. Some people said that Nasheed turns a blind eye towards Israeli aggression against innocent women and children.  Currently Nasheed is living in the UK as a refugee. Recently he was heavily criticized for taking part in a chair race. People questioned whether he genuinely has a backbone problem.
