Abdul Muhaimin Naseer has been appointed Male’ City Council’s Secretary General (SG).
According to Male’ City Council, Muhaimin was appointed to the post with the unanimous consensus of all councilors in attendance during the 200th meeting of the Council’s fourth term.
Prior to this, Muhaimin had been serving as the Council’s Director General (DG).
Muhaimin has previously served in the education sector, as a primary teacher, secondary teacher and principal. He has also held the post of zone coordinator for all schools in the central region and the coordinator for all private and international schools.
He holds a bachelor’s degree and a master's degree.
The Council’s Secretary General is the highest administrative position in the Council, who oversees all administrative functioning and finances of the Council under the guidance of councilors.
