JOALI Maldives, nestled in Raa atoll Muravandhoo, has been awarded the Best Resort of the Year for 2022.
The award was conferred to the resort by Ahmed Naseem, one of the pioneers of Maldives tourism industry and the incumbent Minister of Health.
In addition to the Best Resort of the Year award, JOALI Maldives also won the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) award as well.
The Raa atoll resort features 73 luxury villas including beach front and overwater villas.
Other notable accolades includes the Most Notable Travel Agency Award for 2022 secured by Voyages Maldives. Rasdhoo Divers Kuramathi received the Most Notable Dive Center Award and the Ocean Group was recognized as the Best Water Sports Center in 2022.
The Ministry of Tourism awarded three honors for the guesthouse category, two in the safari vessels/liveaboards category, 13 in resorts category and nine more in the professional sector.
Kurumba Maldives was the recipient of the most number of awards in the resorts category.
