‘Hafthaa Ress’ youth event has far-reaching benefits: Higher Education Minister

The government-organized ‘Hafthaa Ress’ youth market event will have far reaching benefits, Higher Education Minister Ibrahim Hassan has said.
Hassan said this during his inauguration of the youth market event, which is organized by the Youth Ministry and to be held every weekend.
In his address, Hassan said that having an outlet for the youth to market their products or entrepreneurial initiatives and to enjoy themselves safely is greatly beneficial for the youth population.
“I believe this is an important and landmark event, holding such events in populous locations like capital city Malé will have far-reaching outcomes”, Minister Hassan said.
The weekend market’s launching event was attended by Youth Minister Ahmed Mahloof and President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, who both visited each stall individually.
Minister Mahloof said that the launching event turned out ‘better than any expectations’ and that the ministry hopes to have more stalls in the events to come. There were 69 stalls at the event on Friday.
