President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has today appointed three new Ministers to the Cabinet. The appointed Ministers are; Dr Aishath Shiham as the Minister of Education, Dr Mariyam Shakeela as the Minister of Health and Gender and Mohamed Maleeh Jamal as the Minister of Youth and Sports.
The appointment ceremony was held this morning at the President’s Office. The Minsters took their oath of office before the Supreme Court Judge Abdulla Areef. The only remaining vacancy is President Yameen’s cabinet is the Attorney General seat.
