Police have arrested the Principal of Dh. Maaenboodhoo School in a narcotics-related case.
Police media official reported to “Sun” that authorities searched a house in Maaenboodhoo on Tuesday night in a joint operation by Dh. Kudahuvadhoo Police Station and Police Intelligence.
The official said that items suspected of being narcotics were found in the search, and that police have arrested a 47-year-old Maldivian man in connection with the case.
The case is under further investigation by the police.
