High Court has said that although the Criminal Court’s 15 day remand order on Vice President Ahmed Adeeb has been filed for appealed، the court has not made a decision on whether or not to accept the appeal case.
High Court said that the documents of the case have been received، however، no decision has been made yet on whether or not to accept the case.
Criminal Court submitted the documents of VP’s detention appeal to High Court yesterday.
After taken in by security forces in relation to the explosion aboard presidential launch “Finifenma”، Vice President Adeeb was remanded for 15 days on the 25th of this month.
VP’s remand hearing was carried out in Dhoonidhoo via video conferencing.
