Head of Adaalath Party’s Research Committee، Shidhatha Shareef claims that she will continue representing AP without hesitation.
In a tweet she had posted earlier today، Shidhatha affirmed that her efforts against injustice will continue، and she will continue to represent Adaalath Party.
During her speech last night، Research Committee’s head، stated that Sheikh Imran Abdulla had been jailed due to a speech he had delivered، and last night’s rally was to prove the government، of the unhinged opposition stand.
“The people are in despair due to government، we need to bring hope to the people، we need to bring strength to the people” she said during last night’s opposition led protest.
She plead for the citizens to join ranks of the opposition alliance.
Prior to last night’s rally، Shidhatha had claimed 12 June rally will include hordes of participants to the “extent of scaring President Yameen”، however last night’s rally had the lowest turnout ever recorded from an opposition led movement in 2015.
Although last night’s movement had not resulted in a commotion to the level that of Mayday clashes، Deputy Secretary General of AP Ahmed Shareef was arrested for refusing to obey police order.
