An 54 year old Maldivian male has been arrested for the alleged sexual harassment of a 9 year old female.
Police said the man was arrested on 25 January upon a court order after a report was filed at the police on 24 January by the family of the girl sexually abused.
The court has remanded the offender in Police Custody of 15 days pending investigation.
The matter is currently being investigated by the police.
