A large number of young people residing in Male’ have joined Maldives Democratic Alliance (MDA).
At a ceremony held by MDA today evening، a lot of youth have signed up for the party and submitted the forms to the president of MDA، Ahmed Shiyam Mohamed.
Speaking at the ceremony، Ahmed Shiyam Mohamed said that signing up for MDA is a beneficial step towards the youth’s future.
Shiyam said that his party always prioritises the youth and will work for the betterment of the future of the youth.
MDA has also launched a special door-to-door campaign in order to increase the party’s membership.
Speaking about this campaign، president of the Youth Wing of MDA، Ahmed Reehan said that various other activities including football tournaments، launching MDA’s official page، website and logo will also be carried out throughout the campaign. He also said that a ‘jagaha’ of MDA will also open very soon.
MDA is the only party that’s been working with the government leading party، PPM. Reehan said that the party will work together with PPM to re-elect President Yameen in the 2018 elections as well and will work honestly and earnestly in defending President Yameen.
