Vice President Abdullah Jihad and Chinese Ambassador Wang Fukang have discussed ongoing and future projects in the Maldives taken on by China. The meeting was held today at the President's Office.
The President's Office has revealed that the Vice President highlighted on China's hand in the infrastructure-based economic development in the Maldives - hoping to reinforce bilateral exchanges and to push the Maldives-China friendship forward with plausible upcoming projects between the two countries.
During the meeting, the Ambassador also congratulated Vice President Abdullah Jihad for being recently appointed as the Vice President and assured that his hopes and faith remains the same for the future of Maldives-China friendship.
