Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed has said that there is no country which does not do trade via Special Economic Zones (SEZ).
Speaking to Miadhu Daily, Mohamed Saeed said that this is the case with the countries in the region and other than them from the developed countries throughout the world.
He said that many countries have established special economic zones to increase the investments thereby to develop the countries.
Minister Mohamed Saeed said that the matter is as clear as the day but still the former President Mohamed Nasheed tries to discredit this system even while he himself knows the truth.
He said that Nasheed is trying to deceive the public. He said that this is not suitable for anyone let alone a former President.
Mohamed Saeed said that those who say that it is a fail system should prove it with references to the countries that has declared it a failure.
