Minister at the President’s Office, Mohamed Hussein Shareef has been awarded “True friend of India award.”
The award was given to Mohamed Hussein Shareef at the inauguration of the celebration of 50 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Maldives.
The award was handed over to Minister Mohamed Hussein Shareef last night by the President of the Friendship Association of India and Maldives (FAIM) Mohamed Saeed and Deputy President Himmat.
The steering committee members of FAIM also participated in the event.
Mohamed Hussein Shareed expressed his gratitude for the association. He said that it is an honour to have been awarded such a prestigious award.
