Managing Director of STO, Adam Azim has said that the year 2014 will be a successful year for STO.
Adam Azim made this remark in reply to a question raised by Miadhu Daily regarding the “save 50 million” project commenced by the company.
Adam Azim said that this target will be achieved by selling the goods sold in STO in the same price that it is currently sold or at a cheaper price if the price of those goods does not increase in the world market. “We will increase the profit gained by the people then we will make profit for the company,” he said.
Adam Azim said that STO will do two things to increase the profit gained by the company. He said that those are by strengthening the management of the company and by reducing the expenditure.
“We will make this year a very successful year for STO. President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom gives a special attention to STO. He monitors the management and development of the company very closely. He was a successful chairman of STO. Therefore I believe that this year will be a remarkable year for the company,” he said.
Adam Azim highlighted that the government of President Yameen is a government which focuses on bringing true economic development to the country. He said that the President is closely monitoring the situation of STO and is assisting with the company to resolve all problems faced by STO.
