3rd shipment of precast concrete blocks required for Ha. Dhidhdhoo Harbour Extension and Jetty Construction Project delivered

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that the third shipment of precast concrete blocks required Ha. Dhidhdhoo Harbour Extension and Jetty Construction Project has been delivered to the project site.
MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that 80% of dredging operations of the new harbor basin and 72% of concrete blocks required for quay wall construction has been installed.
Under the project to develop Dhidhdhoo Harbour MTCC has to dredge 78000 cubic meter new harbour basin, construction of 616 meter breakwater, 185 meter revetment, and 326 meter quay wall. In addition, installation of harbour lights, installation of street lights, and installation of 4320 square meter harbour pavement.
The value of the project is MVR 69.8 million.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
