Bank of Maldives collaborated with Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC) to donate food packages to children in vulnerable families. This collaboration launched to mark the World Humanitarian Day, August 19.
BML said the donation will support over 100 vulnerable families across Male’ region, by providing food supplies. The bank have expressed their gratitude to ARC for partnering in the initiative.
The bank donated MVR 100,000 to the ARC AID program in 2021 to assist vulnerable families during Ramadan. They also partnered with ARC in 2020, in providing aid to the families affected by COVID-19.
Recently, the bank has provided food assistance to 100 families under the ‘Help a Family’ program run by Moms Offering Moms Support (MOMS NGO).
Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC) is an organization dedicated to advocating for the protection and promotion of the rights of children in the Maldives.
