Bank of Maldives (BML) commences paying dividends from their retained profits for 2019.
Moreover, the national bank of Maldives reports, at their 37th Annual General Meeting on 31 August 2020, the bank made approval of dividends per share for 2019 profits.
Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has since then granted permission for BML’s dividend pay decision.
Furthermore, BML will pay dividends at MVR26 per share from their retaining profit of over MVR139 million for 2019.
The decision was unanimous among its shareholders during their 37th AGM.
Meanwhile, shareholders who earlier made request to deposit their dividends will receive their apportioned dividends to their accounts by now.
Moreover, shareholders of the bank who are subject to the dividend will only include those who registered as BML’s shareholders on or before 18 August 2020.
BML requests shareholders willing to change their bank account for dividend transfer to submit information form before 30 April 2021.
