Malware affects thousands of iOS devices in China

iPhone trouble in China again and this time it comes by the name of WireLurker.
The newly founded malware had been affecting a large number of iOS based devices، namely Apple’s iPhones in China as the Malware seems to affect mobile devices through repackaged applications of Mac OS X.
This bug had affected thousands of users who have downloaded contents via a local OS X market place called Maiyadi App Store، which reportedly contains more than 450 OS X based applications affected by WireLurker.
WireLurker targets deviced connected to affected OS X machines through USB port and it works much like a traditional virus. WireLurker is the first to install third-party apps to iOS that have not been jailbroken.
Once the bug enters your mobile device، the malware is capable of stealing various informations from it and constantly asking for updates from attackers، and it is under development.
Researchers who uncovered the malware had urged users not to install Mac OS from third-party stores and setting up their Mac restrictions to prevenet third-party apps should also be essential.
