A man has been arrested for sexually molesting his daughter.
The arrested individual، aged 57، local، has been arrested by authorities over the continuous sexual abuse practiced on his 11 year old daughter، authorities report.
The individual was arrested sometime during yesterday under a court order from Gnaviyani Atoll Fuvahmulah.
Cases of sexual abuse or molestation of own-child has become increasingly reported to authorities، while recently a man has been arrested from Shaviyani Atoll Funadhoo for continuously molesting his 16 year old daughter from 2009 till 2014.
The man had been sentenced to jail for a period of 24 years over the offense.
