Thai-based Minor International، the owners of Anantara Resorts in Maldives، has decided to develop a resort in UAE، similar to the resorts and hotels in the Maldives.
The resort is set to open in 2018، with 225 beds، and Maldivian resort-style rooms including water villas.
Dillip Rajakarier، the CEO of Minor International said that Middle East is am important market for the Company، and that it seeks to broaden their businesses in the region.
The Company has announced on Monday that they are to develop another resort in addition to the 225-beds-Maldivian-style resort.
The 500-beds resort is set to open in 2018 as well. It will be developed in the Palm Islands of UAE، Minor International said on Monday.
Anantara Veli Resort and Spa and Anantara Dhigu Resort and Spa in Maldives are operated by Minor International.
