The government of Maldives and Saudi Arabia have held discussions to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries.
This discussion was held via a courtesy phone call with Maldives' Foreign Minister of the Maldives, Iruthisham Adam, and Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan al Saud.
During this telephone conversation, the long-standing close ties between the two countries were highlighted, and dialogue was exchanged about methods of reinforcing this relationship, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs detailed.
Minister Iruthisham expressed her gratitude for the contributions made by Saudi Arabia to the development of the Maldives.
