Two members representing the private sector has been appointed to the Board of the Pension Office.
As per the Pension Office, the two members newly appointed to the Board are Ahmed Saruvash Adam and Abdul Majid Ali.
Saruvash has earlier filled the position of Chief Financial Budget Executive at the Finance Ministry. He holds qualifications in economics and accounting and has previously served as MIRA Chairperson and on the MMA Board.
Majid was on the Pension Office Board previously as well, in 2022. This is now his second term. He holds qualifications in banking and financing, and has earlier served on the CMDA Board as well.
At present, the Pension Office Board has seven members. The Chairperson of the Board is former Minister of Finance Ahmed Inaz.
