A fight broke out between a group of Nepali women in Male’ on Friday night.
A video viral on social media shows three migrant women engaged in a fight. Some men are seen trying to break up the fight and the area is surrounded by spectators.
In a message to the media, the Police said they received a report of a fight between two people at Asaree Hingun at approximately 19:47pm. The Police identified those engaged in the fight as Nepalese women.
The case is under further investigation, the Police added.
The video shows that the fight took place in front of a café. However, the reason that led to the fight remains unclear at the moment.
