Member of Elections Commission Ismail Habeeb said that the Election Commission is ready to answer any questions PPM might have and that they should not be “held accountable” from the streets.
Habeeb asked PPM members not to slander the president of EC and asked PPM to act as a responsible opposition party. Habeeb made this statement after PPM and President Yameen took to the streets after an audio of EC chief Shareef got leaked. According to Shareef the audio is a mix up of three different tapes made in order to frame him.
