President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and the Tourism Minister Ahmed Adeeb will know the details with regards to the death of Dr. Afrasheem Ali، former MP for Ungoofaaru and religious preacher، who was found brutally murdered، said Hussain Humaam.
Humaam made his statement during the appeal hearing held today at the High Court.
The Criminal Court sentenced Humaam to death by lethal injection، for being found guilty of murdering MP Dr. Afrasheem in 2012.
Humaam further said that he was not given a chance to speak during the detention. “President Yameen and Tourism Minister Adeeb know what happened،” Humaam added.
The presiding bench interrupted Humaan upon making his statement.
