Fisheries Ministry have said that this year’s food and agricultural exhibition will start tomorrow at Dharubaaruge.
According to the ministry, this year’s exhibition will be based on the slogan of world food day 2016, “climate is changing, food and agriculture must too”.
They said they will exhibit, the changes that need to be brought to agriculture and eating habits. “Eating habits should be different based on the individual. For example, those with diabetes should have a different diet” said an official of the ministry.
In addition, in this year’s exhibitions, chefs from Maldives Chef Guild will take part and show how to prepare healthy food. Fourteen private parties are expected to take part in the exhibition while 2 corporative are among them.
The exhibition will begin at Dharubaaruge tomorrow afternoon with a special ceremony. The exhibition will go on from 20:00hours till 22:00 hours. Also the exhibition will go on 11th and 12th of October as well, starting from morning 9:00 till 22:00hours except prayer times.
