The national council of Jumhooree Party has discussed to carry out party activities with renewed efforts.
The council meeting, headed by JP leader Qasim Ibrahim, was held this afternoon. The council discussed to research and analyze the current situation of the country and to try finding a solution to these problems.
Giving information about the meeting, the Secretary General of JP Ahmed Sameer said that they plan to conduct party meetings for members of the party in future. Also that they will keep updating the media.
“Our party has been inactive for few days now. However, due to the current situation of the country it is our responsibility to do something about it. In today’s meeting we decided to do find solutions to these problems we are facing” said Sameer.
In addition, in today’s meeting Faisal Naseem the MP for Kaashidhoo constituency and Moosa Nizaar of Keyodhoo constituency were appointed as members of Party Election and Campaign Committee.
