The Chancellor of Maldives Islamic University, Dr. Muhammad Shaheem Ali Saeed have advised all the students of Maldives to serve the nation. He said this while speaking at the prize day ceremony of Arabiyya School.
Dr.Shaheem said that, whatever the field might be, students should serve the country sincerely. He said that if worked sincerely, no one would be jobless and will definitelt get a job from somewhere.
He further said that since the Quran was revealed in Arabic, Arabic is a holy language, and hence, it is not only up to students of Arabiyya School to learn the language, but it is the duty of all Muslim students.
Dr. Shaheem advised to work hard and not to lose hope even if students fail the exams. “I failed twice. I failed and even got expelled from school. That was how things were practiced in those days. But I worked hard and now I have a PhD” said Shaheem.
Dr. Shaheem encouraged the students to study hard no matter what the situation might be to have a successful future in the life and hereafter.
